Spectrum Carnival at the Fair!
Spectrum Carnival is proud to provide the amusements and rides for the Gogebic County Fair, bringing excitement, color, and classic carnival fun to fairgoers of all ages. With a wide variety of rides and attractions, Spectrum Carnival helps create the lively atmosphere that makes the fair a highlight of the year for families, friends, and visitors throughout the region.

Fun-E-Business Baloon twisting clowns and face painting will be in the Multi Purpose Building on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Come on down and check it out, get your face painted and some balloon animals!

Cornhole Tournament
The Gogebic County Fair is looking for teams for the 3rd Annual Cornhole Tournament at this years fair. Get your friends together and join the fun! Please come and join the fun. For more information, contact Sandy at the fair office. (906) 285-0395.

The Talents of The Equestrians
Come watch equestrians of all ages display their animals and their skills. Two days of shows in the horse arena; don’t miss it! Want to participate? Contact our clerk Diane Maccani at 906-364-1574.

Gogebic County 4H Livestock Auction
This this year marks the 45th 4-H Market Animal Auction, which will be held on Saturday, at the Gogebic County Fair, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Danny Wanink of Wakefield will conduct the auction of the market animals which will include Steers, Hogs, Lambs, and pens of Turkeys and Broilers.
Throughout the year the youth learn about each species, how to raise them, show them, and the body parts and meat cuts. They also learn how to communicate with others, work as a team, and how to have good sportsmanship. The youth in the Gogebic County 4-H Market Animal Project also meet every Monday during the summer to help prepare the fairgrounds for Fair activities by doing maintenance, such as: repainting pens, walls, and the entrance way of the cattle barn, fixing the wash station and auction arena, and many other projects that need to be done to help make the fair a success.
The Auction Ring is Located Behind in the Livestock Arena. The 4H Auctions starts Saturday at 5:30 PM
Annual Antique Tractor Show
The popular Antique Tractor Show will have more to see at the 2027 Gogebic County Fair, now starting on Sunday, August 9th. This year, the Tired Iron Tractor Club will be bringing in various tractors along with some of the farm equipment that worked the area over the years.
Here’s a chance for local residents to show off their tractors and farm equipment at the fair, and possibly win some prizes. With demonstrations on Saturday and maybe even some on Sunday, it’s a chance to see some great equipment in action.
Always a crowd favorite, the Sunday Antique Tractor Parade through the fairgrounds. It’s a chance to watch the tractors motor through the fairgrounds and the owners show off their unique machines.
Located near the east end of the Exposition Building, this is one event you will want to attend, or even bring your tractor to show off!

Horseshoe Tournament
Come On Down To Our Grounds!
Step into the ring and test your aim at the Horseshoe Tournament during the Gogebic County Fair! Open to all skill levels, this classic competition is a fair tradition full of friendly rivalry, good times, and plenty of cheering. Whether you’re tossing for the win or just for fun, it’s the perfect way to enjoy some laid-back competition and community spirit.

Wood Carving Demonstration
Wood Carving Art will be on the grounds on Friday and Saturday at 1pm.
The carvings will be up for sale immediately after they are created or they will go up for auction.
The Annual Pedal Tractor Pull
Ladies & Gentleman….Children of ALL ages. The Annual Pedal Tractor Pull IS BACK! Located behind the Grandstand, it’s your opportunity to take a chance and see if you can out pedal the tractor farther than anyone else.
Compete in different age classes and see who has the power to bring the “DRAGON WAGON” the distance. Compete for bragging rights and perhaps some prizes. Check it out on Friday, August 9th. Times to be announced.
