The event that started it all. Harness Racing will once again be one of the highlights of the 2023 Gogebic County Fair.
This long standing tradition is a fair favorite. For years, fairgoers have been watching the Trotters and Pacers speed around the half-mile track.
Harness Race Post Time is at 12 PM Noon Friday, August 11th and Saturday, August 12th
The Youth Challenge
Event
Area youth will compete in a variety of fun events in which each team will compete to win prize money to help support their club. Each team consists of 6 youth members between the ages of 14-19 years old. To register or sponsor a team, contact Marlene at 906-932-2700 or fair@gogebic.gov

Lake Superior Tired Iron Tractor Pull
Event
The Eliminator pull sled returns to the Gogebic County Fair to put antique tractors to the test. This show was a big hit in 2023! Members of the public are again invited to join club members in the pull for a fee of $25 which covers membership in the club.
Weight classes as follows:
· 2000-3000 lbs. · 3000-4000 lbs. · 4000-5000 lbs.
· 5000-6000 lbs. · 6000 -7000 lbs. · 7000-8000 lbs. · Unlimited class

Lake States Mud Racers
Event
This long-time favorite event again returns to the Gogebic County Fair. The race will go on rain or shine. Racers come from near and far and non-members are also welcome to compete. Stay up to date by following Lake States Mud Racers on Facebook.
